It was better than I expected. I like that I can use different plates (don't expect to get plates in the box). I use this for buffet serving in my home, it makes any event seem special. The wire circle bases rotate so they stack into one column for storing in the box (I saved the box to store). I would improve it by making the frames also swivel once the bases are lined up, making it even smaller to pack away. This was for my daughter and when she opened the box she just had an exciting type WOW! I am glad I got it for her. First, I have to point out that I hadn't realized this item does not come with plates. That is my fault, however I do believe the company should highlight that somewhere in the item description. That being said, it wasnt hard to find plates to fit. Dessert plates fit very easily. Dinner size plates fit, but depends on the size of the rim underneath. I found adorable holiday dinner plates on Tj Maxx that fit perfect and look adorable! I really love this server and may get another one eventually. It is very attractive and great price! The product looks really nice, but the customer service and the discounts or coupons that they have in the website are lies and the company apply in your purchase whatever they want, obviously the company Apollyon the small amount. I try to apply for the free shipping ($9.96) , because I had more than 50 dollars in my order, so they have 10% discount also. So in the final step, when I was checking my order, said that already discount for free shipping was applied, but in the confirmation email, they applied the 10% off ($5.6) and not the free shipping. I called the customer service and they said that nothin they can do. I decided returned the order just for the bad service and solution in the customer troubles.
