This valance is very pretty and pleasant to the eye. The only way I could fault it, though, is in the stitching of the birds. Not all are embroidered onto the fabric. Several have been sewn onto the fabric and the sewing machine has missed the edge of the birds in large areas. However, because the valance is only going to hang on the window and not be touched, it should hold up at least until it needs washing. - Birdlover, ohio

These are beautiful but the one inch tab at the top is uneven. My one inch rod could not fit in all the way. I have to buy curtain hooks now because a 3/4 rod would be disproportionate to my window. Like they say, cheap stuff never is. - Anyletter, Texas
