The only downside is that the material is very thin, as it already has a few small holes in the fabric that I've patched up with tape.     I was looking for a vinyl tablecloth for the table on my sun porch that could easily be wiped off. This is a pretty tablecloth that adds a nice summer look to the porch. I would have preferred a non-fitted tablecloth, but wasn't able to find one in vinyl, so this does the trick. They are not of heavyweight material but the price is very conducive to buying several which I have and enjoy changing them out regularly.     Needed a vinyl cover for a round outdoor glass table. This has elastic and won't blow off in the wind. It is easy to wipe off and doesn't get that dirty look that glass gets. I recently bought a second one to have on hand. The only drawback is the patterns and colors. It is hard to match chair cushions. I would have preferred some solid color choices. I did not find anything like this in the stores. It is a little big for a 30" table and would be good to have a choice for a 30" or 40" table. - , San Diego, CA

  • Mixed feelings on this cover

    I've bought these the past few years and always been happy with them, but this year when I tipped over a bottle of skinsations insect repellant, it ate a hole through the plastic. Since it doesn't eat a hole in skin I was surprised. When I contacted customer service I received a quick refund "even though I had put chemical on the item. ". I didn't appreciate the undertones and when I put my second cloth on it is now bubbling up in a different area from rain on it. Apparently I have chemical in my rain too. Anyway, I will probably not buy any more of them. The sunflower one is pink and looks nothing like sunflowers. I gave it to goodwill as it wasn't worth my time to return it. - , Chicago, IL

    Our kitchen table wood has gotten marked up and scuffed so I like to cover it and the elastic table cloths work well to stay put. Great to use around children because they don't slip and slide. The design looks pretty for spring. But the quality of the plastic is thin and just about anything can snag it and get a hole/rip/tear. I have had it on my table less than a week and it already has 4 rips. I had another elastic table cloth that was much heavier duty - a marble green one that was shiny. This will only last probably the one season and need to be tossed out. I will put some packaging tape on the rips to give it a little longer time use. And my children were not doing anything abnormal to cause the tears. Also, I own an older one (with a few rips) that I use to cover the table when doing crafts for the children. - , Red Wing, MN

    I bought this to use on our patio table to hide the wear. It is very pretty,(I bought the hydrangeas) but plastic is very lightweight and cheap feeling. I think it will be OK for a few uses, but it doesn't seem like it will stand up very well. If you sew at all, I would advise buying a heavier plastic tablecloth and sewing the elastic on yourself. - , SD

    This is the second of these tablecloths that I have ordered as I really like the sunflower design. It is very pretty but also very flimsy. Tears easily and spilled liquids may soak through if not wiped up quickly.
