If you have some difficulty with your legs this might not be the ladder for you. The steps are narrow as well as the base so if you lean backwards just a little you will tip. I am a 70 year old deaf grandma who lives alone. I don't drive anymore and am home most all of the time because it is hard for me to get rides somewhere. It is time for me to purge. I needed the ladder so I can get things out of cupboards and other places because I want to get things I don' need or want anymore ready for a yard sale . I used it all week. Decided to really clean the living room to start. I pulled pictures down and washed the frames , dusted the walls and just went all around the perimeters o f the room and , either tossing some things out because I didn't want them anymore or keeping them and pricing them for a sale and putting them into boxes. This is a monumental task because I sold Tupperware for 10 years...I haven't even gotten to the kitchen yet..still have work to do in the living room but I am glad that I have the ladder. I was totally disappointed in this product.
I was totally disappointed in this product. It stated in the catalog that it had a 330 pound weight limit. When it arrived and I assembled it, I noticed the instruction stated 225 pound limit. I called Customer Service and was told promptly and not too courteously that there was an error in the printing, but the online ordering had the correct weight limit. Why would I look at those details when ordering???? Now I'm stuck since it's so heavy to disassemble and repack and then take to the USPS for return. Not worth the money
The bracing on the step ladder are flimsy and allow the ladder to be unstable when it should be rigid and secure. Very disappointed. - Augie, Florida
INFERIOR QUALITY
I bought the 4-Step Safety Ladder with Grips (Hand Rails). The safety ladder that I purchased arrived without the necessary hardware to attach the safety rails and the ladder itself was very wobbly. The metal used in the ladder construction is very thin and allows a lot of bending. The thin stabilizer straps did nothing to prevent torque of the ladder when you go up the steps. In my opinion, this ladder is dangerous, especially for older people with limited balance. I would not recommend this ladder for anyone. - Jana, VA

Legs uneven
I sent this back for hopefully a full refund, as in no $7.95 deducted! When I finally had a chance to unpack the ladder (which was very well packaged) I was so disappointed and astounded at how it passed inspection. The left back leg was 2 in. shorter than the other back leg and the right front leg was an inch shorter than the other front one. Total wobble effect!! Kinda the primary prerequisite of any ladder is the legs are the same and stable when the ladder is opened and set up for climbing. Very turned off from this company's products in general due to such an egregious error. And before you ask, of course I was on a level surface. - ravenfire, Alameda, Ca
