I put these on my front porch railing. They are very bright and the colors are amazing. I did not expect them to be so nice. It was a pleasant surprise. I put them in a straight line on the front of the railing . It looks so professional. The plastic is clear and the lights are colored. I don't expect them to fade. That is very important because I get a lot sun on my porch and it destroys cheep lights. If you buy these you won't be disappointed unless you want a round rope.
