Good window cover for extra warmth

A senior lady who likes to have window coverings that have a purpose other than being pretty! I like the backing for keeping out the cold even from the dual pane windows. Looked nice but

These look lovely when you first look at them. Once they were up and the light shines through them they are not the same color. The front and backing look the same until light hits them. One shined a burgundy color and the other panel is a medium brown color. All the valances seem the same with a flashlight shining through them. I am sorely disappointed. I bought clips to hang them and that was a great idea and worked well if you wish to open and close them easily. I do not wish to take the risk to order again and get off colors. They have to be the same color as it is hot now and in that south window the drape will be closed all day.
