    We are using the sofa covers on our sofa in the tv room. I bought it in 2 colors so I could switch it for a change. The brown cover is perfect and matches the brown sofa. The burgundy is more wine colored, but looks equally nice on the sofa. I don't use the ties on it, and the arms and back all stay in place when we sit on it. It is so much better than any I have bought in local stores. Our sofa is a lazy-boy reclining sofa, and the cover works well with that - no problems.     I bought these for my sofa and chair. Like all covers, you are going to have trouble keeping them straight. That's why I opted for the longer arms. They are not hard to assemble, You just have to watch how the ties match up with the fasteners. Since I'm disabled and not able to get up and down well, I cut the ties off, because you have to go around the legs of your sofa and chair in order to fasten them.     We got this to protect our new couch from the dog, who likes to "dig" on the couch. I didn't want to have her wear a hole in the new couch cushion, and it works well for it! NOTE... we got the beige/maroon color combo, and we put the beige side out. One suggestion I would have for the company is that when the beige side is showing, the maroon straps are very visible, and not very good looking, on the sides.     We ordered four of these for the family room: two recliners and two sofas. Previously we had to keep the furniture covered with blankets (the dog licks the furniture) but the blankets just kept bunching up and falling off. These covers are large enough to cover the entire piece without sliding off when you sit down. They are durable, easy to clean, and true to color. However, the straps that are supposed to attach the cover to your furniture are useless. As many people have previously stated, there are no instructions so it can be a bit confusing at first. The main problem is that the strap part is way too short to reach around to the buckle. I've found that the covers stay in place without securing them, but keep in mind that they may slip if you have a slippery leather couch. - , Illinois

    When I took the item out of the bag I could not determine which end was up. The directions are generic. I just ended up placing it on my recliner and tying the back down. It does not cover the recliner sides in the back so there is no protection if you are looking to keep protected from animals such as cats.     The first cover I ordered was to small so I ordered this one seeing it was larger. The only problem is it is way to large. The sides drape the floor and the back is quite long too. There are ties that hold the bottom to the foot rest but the ones on the sides that attach to the back make it pucker. I kept it because I needed a cover but, in reality I should have sent it back.     We purchased new recliners and I wanted to protect them from the moment we started using them. I shopped a lot of online places to get the perfect covers for my chairs and love seat. I ended up choosing Collections Etc, as a friend of mine said she had ordered something from your company and was very happy. When the covers arrived, I took them out of the packages and read the instructions and tried the placement. The side materials are excessively long and I do have oversized chairs but the material was way too long. The covers are supposed to be the Ultra reversible throws. Here is where the problem starts, although they appear to be reversible, they really won't work reversed. The instructions show how easy it is to connect the ties and the metal loops, and they are only on one side and not at the base of the materials. The straps are too short, the ties are only about a foot or so long, and not enough material to meet the the other end. The instructions included must be for a different style of chair. I decided to keep them, only because I did not want to have my new furniture left uncovered while waiting for my new covers to arrive. What I want you people to do, is open a package the same as what I purchased and follow those instructions and tell me how it worked out for you. They are not as described and do not fit. I am altering the ones I have to make them fit properly, but you really should know what your product does or does not do... When I wrote to Collections, they sent an return label, but never acknowledged the complaint. That is not good customer service. I told them in the initial complaint that I will keep the covers, because I have nothing else in place, butt wanted them to know the do not work as instructed, nor do they have the ability to reversed, because of the design flaw. - , Concord, CA

    The straps and buckles that connect the sides to the front and back of this cover and also the loveseat cover were too short. I had to make adjustments by taking off the straps on the sides, moved them closer to the edges of the sides, and used a sewing machine to sew them on. The buckles are very flimsy and the fabric does not stay in the buckles. A velcro system or even just 2 long straps that could be tied together would be better.     Whatever positive things that could be said about this item are negated by the fact that the arm flaps and the back flap are so long it can't be used as it should be. I got the recliner cover so I can't tuck the extra THREE FEET of material of each arm and back because the movement of the seat un-tucks them. I had to cut the excess off making it look very CHEAP because the overhangs no longer have clean edges.     I thought these would be a good idea for our living room furniture as we allow our pets to lay on the furniture. I'm very disappointed. They were difficult to put in place and they are terrible about staying in place. If someone sits down and then gets up, I have to re-position the cover and straighten it up. I had been using my old flannel sheets which I would wash and put back on and I am going back to them. Washing the sheets is actually easier than trying to keep these covers in place. There is a short strap and clasps at the bottom but the strap is way too short to attach to the bottom of the chair. There are clasps at the top but no straps. It doesn't make sense!!! I called Customer Service and the lady I spoke with made me sound like I was incompetent. - , The United States

    No instructions on how this should fit on a recliner. It has straps that I assume go around the recliner to keep it in place and aren't long enough to even fit.     I purchased covers for my two recliners. They are not what I expected at all. Neither cover fits well and the side pieces are so long. The recliners are different sizes and these covers do not fit either chair. Very disappointed in the quality and design. I would return them but it's such a hassle.
